Social Media Etiquette
We are proud to live and work in a community, and a Country, where there is freedom of speech and public access to information. We enjoy using this platform to connect with our community members online and our staff do their best to share up-to-date, accurate and informative information.
We ask the following to be considered when engaging on our social media platforms:
- Do not post for your own personal agenda when commenting on posts on our page;
- When wanting to pose a specific question, direct message us so that we can direct you to the appropriate staff person to answer your question;
- Be mindful of the source of the information, and;
- Show kindness and respect, always.
For those that cannot seem to follow these guidelines, your posts will either be hidden or removed from our page by our Marketing & Community Development Coordinator, who manages our social media accounts.
For those of you who respect these wishes (which is the vast majority of you, might we add!) we appreciate this very much!
