Great for weddings, family reunions, special occasions, meetings, presentations and select sporting events. The hall is equipped with a built-in speaker system with wireless microphone as well as MP3 player connectivity. Two 80″ LED TVs mounted in the hall are directly connected to audio visual equipment. Projection system is available to display your slideshows and PowerPoint presentations from your PC. All rentals include use of a health unit inspected commercial kitchen. We have a sufficient number of rectangular and round tables and chairs that will be set up to your liking, portable stage can be made available. This facility is also wheelchair accessible.
Curling Club Floor:
Capacity: 449
Ideal location for large functions such as concerts, dances or sporting events. Due to the curling season that runs from October to March, the floor surface is unavailable for rentals during this time. All rentals include use of a health unit inspected commercial kitchen. We have a sufficient number of rectangular and round tables and chairs that will be set up to your liking, portable stage can be made available. This facility is also wheelchair accessible.
Arena Floor:

In the spring and summer the arena floor is ideal for large functions, banquets, galas and indoor sporting activities. In the winter the arena ice is used for hockey games, broomball, figure skating, public skating, shinny and is also available for private rentals. All rentals include use of a health unit inspected commercial kitchen. We have a sufficient number of rectangular and round tables and chairs that will be set up to your liking, portable stage can be made available. This facility is also wheelchair accessible.

Event Rates
Wedding (Auditorium or Arena Surface): $900 HST included.
Buck & Doe (Auditorium, Arena or Curling Surface): $900-$1,100 HST included.
- Wedding costs include set-up the day prior, music tariffs, and use of kitchen.
- Buck & Doe costs include music tariffs and licensed security.
Small Gathering (Auditorium): $150 HST included
Large Gathering (Auditorium, Arena or Curling Surface): $300 HST included
Kitchen: $75 HST included
* If you book both your Wedding and Buck & Doe at one of our facilities you will receive a $100 discount.

Cultural Moment
In the early days of Harriston, residents in 1875 would curl on ponds and rivers, but by 1877, a split two-ice curling rink with natural light was built at the new Palace Rink, which upgraded to a two sheeter side by side by 1920. In 1953, George Street skating became a shared hockey facility and by 1976 it became the 4 sheeter present at the arena's curling club we know now.
