Attention Main Street Palmerston Residents and Businesses

The Town of Minto Public Works Department has begun an inspection of the sanitary sewer system in your area. This work includes Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) inspections of sewer service lines. We need to set up an appointment to inspect the integrity of the sewer lateral between the sewer main and the property line. Access to the sanitary sewer from inside the building may be required to complete the inspection.

Scope of Work:
• What: CCTV inspections of the sanitary sewer service lines to identify blockages, defects, or maintenance needs prior to proposed future road reconstruction of Main St. Creating a record of the location, condition and material of the sanitary service.
• Where: Main St. Palmerston
• Contractor: All work will be conducted by Town of Minto staff.

What You Can Expect:
• There will be no disruption to water or sewer service during this work.
• Some noise and vehicle activity may occur near the work area.
• Workers may need access to your homes internal plumbing cleanout to perform the CCTV work.
