Apply now to receive funds from the 12th Annual Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament

TOWN OF MINTO - The 12th Annual Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament will be held August 4th, 2022 at Pike Lake Golf Centre Limited.
The application process is now open and will close on Monday, April 4th. The Core Committee is looking for applications from non-profit organizations within the Town of Minto that fit into one of three categories: Community Betterment, Service Club or Sports Club.
Over the past eleven years, the Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $117,000.00 and has assisted 38 local community groups with their financial expenses or events in our community. Last year two organizations benefited from the proceeds of Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament, Minto Minor Hockey, who used the funds to purchase additional half boards and the Palmerston Public School Parent’s Council who used the funds towards the replacement of the playground structure. Previous funds have been used to beautify our downtowns, purchase new sports equipment, fundraise for a refugee family, support mental health initiatives, and helped to fundraise for the Canada Packers Reunion 2018. We look forward to supporting and assisting our local groups again this year.
