Significant Weather Event Ended

The Significant Weather Event, declared concerning the forecasted flash freeze, blizzard, snowfall, snow squall and blowing snow commencing at 10:00, 2022-12-23, pursuant to O.Reg 239/02, is declared over as of 10:00, 2022-12-28.

Significant Weather Declaration

The Town of Minto is declaring a significant weather event in respect to the forecasted flash freeze, blizzard, snowfall, snow squall and blowing snow as predicted by Environment Canada starting at 10:00 am, 2022-12-23 and continuing until further notice.

Administration Office Closed December 23

Due to the weather forecast for December 23, 2022, the Town of Minto Administration Office will be closed. Staff will be working from home and available between 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Notice to Clifford Water Customers

UPDATE September 19, 2022 - The Clifford water tower maintenance is now complete and the Water Tower is back online.

The Clifford Water Tower will be out of service for scheduled maintenance. There will be a BAN on Lawn Watering / Car Washing / Any Other Un-Necessary use of water until the Tower is put back into service.

Notice of Pending Sale of Lands

TAKE NOTICE that Council of the Town of Minto will consider a By-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute all documents necessary to conclude the Agreement of Purchase and Sale for the lands described.
