The Town of Minto will be following all guidelines set out by the Government of Ontario.
The Municipal Office will remain closed to the public for the time being. We are continuing to monitor the situation, and we encourage the public to check traditional and social medias as well as the Town of Minto website for updates.
As an employer, the Town of Minto has an obligation under the Ontario Health & Safety Act to take all necessary precautions to protect our employees.
The Municipal Office will re-open to the public on Tuesday September 7th. Council will resume in-person Council meetings beginning Tuesday September 21st, however we once again will be rotating through Harriston, Clifford and Palmerston Community Centres.
The maintenance on the Palmerston tower is complete and the water restrictions are lifted.

The Town of Minto is pleased to announce that its request for funding for expanded and enhanced facilities of the Palmerston & District Community Centre has been approved.
On March 16, 2021 Watson and Associates presented the Town of Minto Council with the Final Draft of the Water and Wastewater Rate Study and Financial Plan to the Council.
On March 2, 2021 Watson and Associates presented the 2021 Town of Minto Development Charges Update Study to the Council of the Town of Minto.
The Town of Minto, along with the rest of Wellington County, reenters the red zone today. With this slight loosening of restrictions, the Town of Minto remains devoted to ensuring all safety measures are followed to both protect our residents and staff.
The Town of Minto passed its 2021 budget in December 2020 while the County of Wellington passed its final budget in late January 2021.
