The Town of Minto has installed a new community flagpole on the grounds of the municipal office. This designated flagpole will be made available to community organizations who wish to fly a flag in honour of an event or a special cause.

The Town of Minto continues to keep public safety as top priority during the unique circumstances surrounding COVID-19. After the recent Provincial announcement, Town staff are working towards opening farmers’ market, railway museum, splash pad, pools and day camp programs.
In response to feedback from the community and our many partners throughout the region, Dr. Mercer has provided clarification to her Class Order under Section 22 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act.
Roadside Weed Spraying will commence on July 2nd, 2020 weather permitting, and conclude August 21st, 2020.
Dr. Mercer’s Section 22 order requires all persons who own or operate a Commercial Establishment in the jurisdiction of the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Health Unit to prohibit Persons from entering the premises of the Commercial Establishment or remaining in the premises if the said Person is not wearing a Face Covering.
