All Municipal Parks and Certain Amenities to Open May 25, 2020

ALL MUNICIPAL PARKS AND CERTAIN AMENITIES TO OPEN MAY 25TH
The Town of Minto continues to keep public safety as top priority during the unique circumstances surrounding COVID-19. After the recent Provincial announcement, all parks and certain amenities will open with limitations on May 25, 2020.
Amenities to open with limitations include ball diamonds, soccer fields, green spaces, park benches, pedestrian bridges, sports pads, tennis courts, basketball courts, shuffleboard courts, lawn bowling greens, pickleball venues as well as the currently open walking trails.
Until now, parks, green spaces and trails remained open for walk-through access only.
Playgrounds, pavilions, swimming pools and the splash pad will remain closed.
Limitations include but are not limited to:
1) Gatherings of no more than 5 people
2) Staying home if you feel unwell
3) Practicing physical distancing
4) Online registration to use the shuffleboard court and pickleball venue

The Town of Minto municipal office, as well as recreation and cultural facilities will remain closed to the public for the time being. This consists of all arenas, curling clubs (except for pickleball), community halls, museums, theatres, playgrounds, Launch It Minto and any other Town-run facilities.
The Town of Minto wishes to extend sincere appreciation to the community for their cooperation and patience during such unprecedented circumstances. It is times like these where the strength and perseverance of our community really shines. Minto will come through this together stronger.
