LATEST UPDATE FROM THE TOWN OF MINTO ON THE CURRENT COVID-19 SITUATION
The Town of Minto continues to assess and adapt to the ever changing circumstances surrounding the COVID19 pandemic.
As a reminder to all residents, the Town of Minto municipal office, as well as, recreation and culture facilities remains closed to the public until Monday, April 6, 2020. Social distancing measures have been implemented at the municipal office to ensure continuity of service, as such, staffing is limited. Residents are still encouraged to call the municipal office, follow the appropriate phone prompts and leave a voicemail. Staff will return voicemails in a timely manner.
The Town of Minto strongly suggests that residents practice social distancing effectively during this time by:
- Avoiding non-essential trips in the community
- Limiting social gatherings, both public and in home
- Keep kids away from group settings including at playgrounds
Enjoying outdoor activities are a great way to keep entertained during these unique times; however please remember social distancing measures apply to public spaces as well.
