NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

On Tuesday, February 4, 2020 the Council of the Town of Minto will hold a public meeting, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the Municipality’s proposed development charges (D.C.) by-law and underlying background study.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting:

Time: 3:00 PM
Location: Council Chambers, 5941 Highway 89, Harriston, On N0G 1Z0

In order that sufficient information is made available to the public, the background study is available online at the municipality’s website (www.town.minto.on.ca).  Copies of the proposed D.C. by-law and the background study are also available at the Municipal office at the above noted address.

Any person may attend the public meeting and make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the by-law. Written submissions are invited and should be directed to Annilene McRobb, Acting Clerk annilene@town.minto.on.ca  no later than 12:00 PM on Tuesday February 4, 2020.  Written comments received prior to the meeting and submissions made at the public meeting will be considered by Council prior to the enactment of a new development charges by-law.
