NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING FOR AN AMENDMENT
TO THE MINTO COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PLAN
TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended the Corporation of the Town of Minto will hold a Public Meeting to present and receive public input regarding proposed changes to the Community Improvement Plan.
A Public Meeting will be held by the Council of the Town of Minto to consider this on:
June 4, 2019

The property subject to the proposed amendment include the entire Town of Minto and therefore a key map is not attached.
The Purpose and Effect of the Amendment
The purpose and effect of the proposed amendment to the Community Improvement Plan is to enhance and extend the 2009 and 2015 CIP’s to include new incentives and introduce additional provisions into the Town’s CIP so that the County may also provide grants and loans to eligible landowners/tenants undertaking community improvement projects in the Town.
Oral or Written Submissions
Any person or public body is entitled to attend the public meeting and make written or oral submissions in support of or in opposition to the proposed amendment to the CIP. Written comments should be submitted to the Town Clerk at the address shown below.
TAKE NOTICE that if a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Minto to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Minto before the CIP amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
AND TAKE NOTICE that if a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Minto before the CIP amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

If you wish to be notified of the decision in respect of the proposed Town of Minto Community Improvement By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the Clerk.
A copy of the proposed CIP is available for inspection during regular office hours at the Town Office or online at www.town.minto.on.ca
