Saugeen Connects launches 40 new summer businesses

This summer, 40 new businesses will start-up thanks to the support of Saugeen Connects, an economic development partnership that includes Brockton, Hanover, Minto, Wellington North, West Grey and the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation (SEDC).

Update on Tree and Shrub Removal from the Harriston Floodplain

Over the past three weeks trees and shrub removal has been underway along the banks and floodplain of the Maitland River in Harriston. This work is being done downstream of the Arthur St. bridge to ensure that water is not obstructed during high flow events.

CIP Public Meeting Notice

Take notice that pursuant to Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended the Corporation of the Town of Minto will hold a Public Meeting to present and receive public input regarding proposed changes to the Community Improvement Plan.

Notice of Land Sale - Highway 9

In accordance with By-Law 2008-03 as amended certain lands have been deemed surplus to the needs of the Town of Minto so that the Town may enter into an agreement of purchase and sale with the Ministry of Transportation.

Pitch It: Minto Business Plan Competition

The PitchIt! Minto Business Plan Competition started in 2012 in an effort to grow small businesses in Minto and increase awareness of the resources available. New this year we have over $25,000 in prizing for the winner, all finalists and a pool of prizing that can be customized based on the needs of the businesses!

Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament

The application process is now open and will close on Monday, April 8th The Core Committee is looking for applications from non-profit organizations within the Town of Minto that fit into one of three categories; Community Betterment, Service Club or Sports Club.

Budget Open House

To hear from the public on the proposed 2019 budget and to gather input, Council and Department Heads will host an open house in the Council Chambers, at the Town Administrative Building Tuesday March 19, 2019 from 5:00 to 6:30pm.  Any member of the public is welcome to attend to discuss the budget proposal.

Fees & Charges Bylaw Amendments

In accordance with By-Law 2011-92 Notice is hereby given that the Town of Minto intends to consider amending certain licenses and user fees in its Comprehensive Fees and Charges By-law in several areas.
