NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Minto will hold a public meeting on the 8th day of January, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. in the Harriston Community Centre (111 George Street South, Harriston) in order to consider the allowance of Retail Cannabis Locations within the Town of Minto.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT – The Town of Minto is gathering information from the public on the prospect of allowing cannabis retail locations to open within the municipality. The effect will be to determine whether the Town of Minto will choose to opt out of hosting these retail locations.

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the matter at hand.

ANY PERSON who is unable to attend the public meeting is invited to submit comments by utilizing our new civic engagement software at engageminto.ca.
