The Town of Minto has numerous By-laws enacted for various reasons. Examples of this include, but are not limited to, a Dog Licensing By-law, a Parking By-law, a Noise By-law, and a Property Standards By-law. Before filing a complaint, you may wish to review the Town of Minto’s By-Law Documents. Please be advised that the By-law Enforcement Officer(s) at the Town of Minto are responsible for the enforcement of the Town’s By-laws. Please note that Noise-Bylaw or Parking By-law violations outside of Town of Minto hours (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) are enforced by the Wellington County OPP.
Complaints must be provided in written form only or through filling out the digital form below. All complaints must include your name, address, telephone number and email. Please be advised that anonymous complaints will not be accepted. This policy ensures that our By-law Enforcement Officer has a record on file of by-law and property standard complaints.
It is the responsibility of the Town of Minto’s By-law Enforcement Officer(s) to respond to all complaints when submitted in writing and provided to the Town by mail, fax, e-mail or via the Town’s online reporting form. It is also the right of the By-law Enforcement Officer(s) to act on an issue without a complaint.
